Establishes training program, lean processes and continuous improvement.
Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and delivery performance.
1.
Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and provide clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.
2.
Supports and investigates situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk.
3.
Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws 4.
Actively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving prioritized corrective and preventive actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health or safety risks.
5.
Lead all required meetings with safety (i.
e.
Pre-shift, Department, Change Management, General communication, Town Hall, etc.
).
6.
Completes incident investigations, root cause analysis and implements corrective actions accordingly in a timely and thorough manner.
7.
Ensures the proper training and development of all assigned employees for whom they are responsible.
8.
Sets goals for their organizational unit; achieves goals and ensures that all employees understand and work toward achieving goals.
9.
Motivates and coaches employees through good communication and frequent performance feedback.
Identifies and coordinates additional training as needed 10.
Identify and implement lean process improvements.
11.
Create and implement a training program for all employees.
12.
Increase delivery performance and shipping/receiving accuracy.
13.
Maintains accurate inventory level and cycle counts.
14.
Continuously improve material movement and storage processes.
15.
Analyze and process equipment changes.
16.
Understand and fully utilize all ISO procedures.
17.
Maintain and update quality procedures and communicate changes to assigned personnel.
18.
Investigate and resolve OCOM issues in a timely manner.
19.
Responsible for the duties of warehouse supervisor in their absence.
20.
Audit and approve timecards for assigned personnel.
21.
Track and manage attendance data for team members.
22.
Responsible for individual and team compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
23.
Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, quality, high performance and process excellence.
24.
Establish team and individual accountabilities for problem solving and cost reduction.
25.
Perform 6S, safety, process, and quality audits.
26.
Address any identified gaps and ensure resolution.
27.
Provide coaching and feedback to team members 28.
Positively communicate changes in business situations, production schedules, and company policies.
29.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education (Degree/Major):
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Associates Degree preferred.
Certifications:
Forklift Certification Work
Experience:
